BSG: Season 3

Season 3 of the Peabody Award winning SciFi Channel series Battlestar Galactica, starts off with our rag-tag fleet of humans trying to settle into life on New Caprica, now ruled by cylons.

Baltar has been elected president and serves as master puppet to the cylons, but a guerilla group of citizens bands together to try and save humanity again. Bad guys turn into good guys and vice versa - the survivors are faced with decisions they never would have dreamed to have to make.

Admiral Adama and a small fraction of his crew are left in space to try and save the people on the planet. They do finally succeed, however, now the survivors are back to square one - running from the cylons while trying to find a new planet.

We lose a major character, and during the season finale, viewers get to find out who four of the "Final Five" are. And it is a doozy - I really could not believe it when I first saw the episode on TV.

All in all it is a great season. Sure, there are a couple of slow episodes toward the middle of the season, but other episodes more than make up for them - and besides, which show does not have a couple of episodes that are not up to par?
