Excellent book for the aspiring bartender, or any home bar

Beginner Bartender's Little Helper

Review: Learn to make the perfect cocktail, about wines, how to pick your tools. Written in an entertaining and sometimes comical manner, it is not a tedious task to learn to bartend using this book.
