Learning made Easier

The Bottom Line: I think this is great for kids and I have one on hand for emergencies
This kept the four year olds occupied for a very long time. We played it over at least ten times and they loved it. We had company with four year olds and weather kept us inside and kept them from traveling home. I was running out of patience and art projects when I called and asked the neighbor what she did.She came over with this little gem and her child in tow. First we got them warmed up with some Barney songs and then put this in.
I was fascinated to see how much attention they payed to this Purple Dinosaur. They were actually learning something from the big Purple guy. I never really cared for Barney but my own daughter was not the right age for him when he burst into popularity. Now I realize what a boon to parents the amazing Dinosaur and his pals actually are. The fact that the small fry will actually sit and pay attention was such a bonus factor.
I love it that they can be occupied with something that keeps them from wrecking the house, but also teaches them some thing that will be useful to them in the future.
I am not sure how much I would continue to like this production if I had to listen to it many times a day, but it was a lifesaver in this situation and I would recommend everyone keeping this sort of material in the house for emergencies even if they have no small ones of their own.
