What's not to love about BareNaked?
Date of Review: Dec 20, 2002
The Bottom Line: Jennifer Love Hewitt has such a beautiful voice which is showcased in this album and this album shows how much talent she has as a singer/songwriter.
I have been a big fan of Jennifer Love Hewitt ever since she played Sarah on Party of Five. What was there not to love about her, she was one of the only stars on the show that any young girl could relate to. So when I first heard BareNaked on the radio I couldn't believe my ears. It was Jennifer Love Hewitt's new song. It had a catchy tune that I could relate to and besides everyone has felt barenaked one time in their life or another.
I purchased BareNaked right after it came out and I have not been disappointed with this album at all. It actually hasn't left my CD player since I purchased it. One of my favorite songs on the BareNaked album is "Can I Go Now" which is a very beautifully written song.
In my opinion Jennifer Love Hewitt has a better voice than Britney Spears ever dreamed of having. Even though this is Jennifer Love Hewitt's forth album and she has been named the no hit wonder, I just hope that with BareNaked more people will take her seriously as a singer/songwriter.
This albulm is such an inspirational album that I did purchase it for my younger sister. She is fourteen years old and in her words "totally dig the tunes", but all in all I believe this is an album that both young adults and older adults can enjoy. It is a positive album with positive messages.
