While most people would associate the name to an actress, JLH has actually been singing all her life. She now has 4 music albums credited to her name. And although the first three weren't really phenomenal (but nevertheless good), the latest one, Barenaked may prove otherwise. With the help of Meredith Brooks, this album takes a turn from her normal ballad and mid-tempo songs.

She co-wrote most of the songs. And while her style is often compared to the likes of Michelle Branch and Vanessa Carlton, she is more of a female New Radicals (although she looks a lot nicer). Her first single Barenaked is so catchy you're probably humming it now. But her next single, Can I Go now, is definitely better and is the only reason you 'll need to buy the album.

1. barenaked -- come on, we've all heard this one by now.
2. can i go now - One of the best songs in the album! Great lyrics and an even better melody.
3. you - the only real ballad in the album. Her voice conveys emotions really well!
4. hey everybody - lively song! the background vocals rocks!
5. where you gonna run to? - simple but is a really catchy song
6. i know you will - edgy and this is where her voice really soars
7. rock the roll - nice rap (or something like it). Very Rock and Roll
8.stand in your way - the opposite of Can I go now lyrically. mid-tempo song.
9. First Time - "It's not complicated", she sings. Move over Avril.
10. Stronger - solely credited to Jennifer, this is a really really great song. very Nice indeed!
11. avenue of the stars - she sings about acting and hollywood and marilyn monroe. again, a great upbeat song.
12. Me and Bobby Mcgee - her rendition of a Janis Joplin song. a country song. accompanied only by a bongo drum, she showcases (and isn't afraid to) her voice!
13. JUST TRY - bonus track only. Composed by Meredith and Brian Mcknight. probably the best song.
