Author's Review
I really like most Bare Escentuals products, but I can't say that the I.D. Big Tease Mascara is something I'd buy on its own.
I initially receive the I.D. Big Tease Mascara as part of a Bare Escentuals Kit (I believe the Peacock Collection). My lashes are short, thin, and fairly straight, so a bare bones mascara isn't something that works well for them. Unfortunately, that's what I found the I.D. Big Tease Mascara to be.
One thing I like is that it makes lashes look very natural. When I first put it on, it doesn't look like I'm wearing mascara, but does enhance my eyes. However after about an hour, my lashes have lost any curl and length they initially had. Even right after application, they lashes are not as thick as I would hope.
Also, the I.D. Big Tease Mascara is not water proof, and it easily smudges.
I do like the wand, it has a unique shape, which is dissimilar to any that I have used.
I would not recommend purchasing the I.D. Big Tease Mascara. If it comes with a kit, it is okay to use. But your best bet would be to throw it up on ebay and make a couple dollars back.
