Mineral Veil is to be lightly brushed over entire face, over bare escentuals foundation powder, either before or after blush, depending on desired effect.
Although the foundation alone does a wonderful job of evening out any complexion imperfections, the Mineral Veil is a 10 second way to send the overall look to a higher level of natural.
It greatly reduces the appearance of fine lines and enlarged pores, as well as helping you achieve a more natural and less "made up" finish.
For daytime, I use this product over the foundation and blush, as it softens the entire appearance. For evenings and special events, I apply the blush over the mineral veil. Either way, this product is a great finishing touch to the foundation of the same line.
I would almost say this product has a "shimmer" effect, but that would be misleading. It would be more accurately described as adding the "natural glow" that is found in healthy, well cared for skin. Transforming a "natural look" to "porcelain perfect".
I have used several shades of foundation (changing from summer tan times to paler winters shades), and this translucent powder worked perfectly with each shade I used.
If the price is a concern, please note a little goes a very long way, making it well worth the price.
