Makes mineral foundation a breeze to apply!

I've been using Bare Escentuals make-up for almost a year now. While it's not difficult to use, there is definitely a learning curve. One key thing to always remember - less is more!

A month ago, I decided to break down and buy some primer to use under my make-up. For some reason, I never thought primer was a necessary step in my routine. I can't say that my mind has been completely changed, but using this primer has certainly been a pleasant addition to my routine.

The directions say to use one pump of product, apply all over face, and when dry, apply your foundation. This product takes some getting used to. As you apply, it literally dries immediately. You can barely feel it going on. Because of this, I've modified my usage. I use one pump and quickly apply this all over my face. I then use about another half-pump and apply this to the areas of my face that need some special attention. This includes the wrinkles around my eyes, my nose, the lines on my forehead, and the lines around my lips. I then wait for about a minute and apply my foundation.

The very first time I used this, I noticed that my foundation went on much more smoothly. It seems to ensure that I get an even application all over my face.

I have relatively dry skin, so I can't say whether it helps with oiliness. I also always use a good quality moisturizer, so I can't say whether this product helps prevent dry skin patches. It definitely has not caused any skin problems for me.

I can't say that this product has made all my lines disappear after usage, but it is definitely worth its price ($21) because of the ease of use and the improvement in my make-up application. I would recommend it to anyone who's interested in a smoother application of mineral make-up.
