Prime Time, an essential for Bare Minerals.

Bare Minerals is a great makeup, but it can have a dry and patchy look if your skin isn't moisturized and smooth when you apply it. A good moisturizer and primer can fix that. There are plenty of mositurizers out there, and Bare Escentuals just solved the problem of finding a good primer for mineral makeup.

Bare Escentuals Prime Time comes in a small white bottle with a black pump. One pump is exactly the amount you need, so the bottle lasts quite a long time even though it's really small. The primer itself is a clear, silky liquid-gel.

I purchased a set of Bare Minerals a while back and I felt the need for a primer even though I was using a moisturizer. I started looking around for one and realized that Bare Escentuals made one...Prime Time.

I purchased the Prime Time and tried it immediately after receiving it. I noticed upon pumping it out that it had almost an oily feel although its only Cyclopentasiloxane (silicone). I applied it to my face in an even, smoothing pattern and surprisingly, one pump DID do it all. It soaked into my skin quickly leaving a silky, smooth canvas for my Bare Minerals.

I then applied Bare Minerals with the Full Coverage Kabuki and it went on smoothly! No dryness, no patchiness, no cakiness, nothing but flawless skin! It was fantastic!

Over time, I never experienced any pore clogging or breakouts...it didn't do all it promised to do, but it sure did smooth out my skin and make a nice base for the foundation.
