Product Review

Great product

by   carebear101684 ,   Jun 22, 2008

Pros:  Great coverage and colors

Cons:  Expensive

The Bottom Line:  Great product, fully covers, natural looking and feeling. Will not clog pores and was only $60 at Ulta.

Overall Rating: 5/5 stars

Author's Review

I received this set as a gift. My skin easily breaks out and is irritated by different creams, make-ups, etc. After learning how to use all these products I made up my own routine. First I use the primer to ready my face by smoothing it out, like a canvas. Then I use the smaller brush to apply the Fairly Light shade to imperfections and under my eyes. Once I think everything is as covered as it is going to be, I apply the Light powder with the biggest brush. I do not tap off the excess because I have learned nothing really falls out of the brush when tapping it. I swirl it around my whole face in a circular motion as many as three times of reapplying. Because it is a naturally product and a powder, you can never really apply too much of it. To get the full effects of the spf I read you should apply a decent amount, such as two applications. I only use a tiny bit of power. About the size of a pea and even less with the blushes. I find the the red looking one gives a sun glow to the face. The purple looking one is more so for in the evenings, going on, etc. I love both. I have fallen asleep while wearing everything and to my surprise..no skin problems! Easily washes off, and you don't feel like people are staring at your caked on make-up as they would with liquid foundation.
