Review: This is an adorable film for children, as long as they are old enough to handle the fact that the mother dies. I don't recommend it for very young viewers for this reason.

Bambi Will Stay In Your Heart Forever!

The Bottom Line: This film has long been heiled a masterpiece, it falls short of that title. Lacking some classic Disney magic, replacing it with a sense that they tell too much.
Review: Bambi relies heavily on moments of laughter to relieve the viewer from some of the film's intensity. Cute moments that are usually just a bit too cute. Thumper's a darling for sure. Sometimes I really wish this movie had been all about Thumper,...
