This takes a great style game and just makes it better. A word of caution though this game is very addicting so be careful. They enemies are pretty hard at first so make sure to save a lot and don't rely on the autosave because if your low on money and a character dies and you accidentally leave the area it will save and you might have trouble getting that character revived.
Okay enough tips. Baldur's Gate plays like Fallout and Fallout2 which also were great games, but instead this time you're in a D&D world. Pretty nifty huh? Being able to command while paused is a great feature. Without it I would have to reload much more often. I haven't had any problem with bugs, the game runs nice and smooth(unlike the Fallout games). If you want to cheat there are the standard hex editors out there as well as some built in cheat codes. Sure it's cheating but who are you to judge. Maybe I'd listen to your anti-cheating sentiments if you weren't a chaotic-evil thief. Seriously if there were no cheats more people would complain(definately play it at least once without cheating.
Good luck.
