Not for Moms with a small build

We have this carrier in the Sporty Green color. It is very durable and well made. However, the straps do not cinch tight enough on me, so all the weight from the baby pulls on my neck and shoulders. The comfortable back and waist support is useless for me because the straps are so loose. Once my baby was about 10-15 pounds it got to be too heavy for me to use at all. I am 5' 2" and about 115lbs. My husband got a lot more use out of it because he was able to tighten the straps snugly around his body so the weight of the baby was evenly distributed.
It is a good carrier for going relatively short distances like around the house or grocery shopping. I don't think it would be all that comfortable for an all day outing.
The size adjusts quite a bit for the baby as he grows. When our baby was a newborn we swaddled him and slid him inside like a little cocoon. I don't think the manufacturer recommends this, but it worked out well for us during the first few weeks. I am sure we will get more use out of it for our next baby, especially when they are very small.
