A Must Have for Twins

by   manomet1234 ,   Aug 26, 2007

Pros:  Light weight, easy to set up, fit easily in most cars.

Cons:  a little tough to assemble

The Bottom Line:  This is a must have for twin moms. Easy to set up, fits in most cars and makes getting out with twins much easier.

Overall Rating: 5/5 stars

Author's Review

When I found out I was having twins the stroller search began! I research on-line, in stores and most importantly, asked other twin moms.
The overwhelming majority of twin moms said the snap n go double stroller was a must have.
I was worried about the stroller not being worth the money. Would it last long enough or would my twins outgrow the carseats to quickly?
I decided to by the travel system. Turned out I should have listened to the moms. I opened the travel system to try it out with the car seats, before my twins were born. It was much to heavy and awkward with both carseats in it.
I returned the travel system and bought the double snap n go. Great decision! I loved that I could transfer my sleeping twins (any twin mom knows how precious that is) from the car, still in their carseats, into the snap n go and head right off. The stroller is narrow enough and maneuverable enough to get through most store aisles. It's a little tough to roll on a bumpy sidewalk or street and useless on dirt or sand roads but that wasn't too much of a problem.
I used the snap n go until my twins were about 10 months old and at that point they were old enough to go right into one of the lighter weight side by side strollers.
My snap n go has now been used by at least 3 sets of twins! I just passed mine along but they do have a great re-sale value.
I did have some trouble assembling the product out of the box. There are many different attachment for each type of carseat that can be used. I'll blame it on my pregnancy brain but eventually I figured it out.
