At ten grand a liter, how much BMW would you like?

by   mkaresh , top reviewer in Cars & Motorsports at Epinions.com ,  Jul 21, 2002
Pros: Power throughout range, handling, ride, refinement
Cons: Sport option could feel sportier, options expensive
The Bottom Line: The 3.0 transforms an already great car. Although I hate to legitimate BMW's $5,000 price for this upgrade, it might just be worth it.
Review: If Detroit could get the prices that the Germans do for options, they’d have billions in extra profits per year. Take the Ford Contour I drive. It was available with a 125 horsepower 2.0 ...

Pros: * Darn near Everything
Cons: * Window Regulators * Factory Stereo
The Bottom Line: Highly recommended. Car is great fun!
Review: This review was re-written on March 23rd 2006. **** I bought my 2002 325i w/ Sport Suspension and 5-Speed Manual transmission in July of 2005 with 74,000 miles on it. I'm up to 88,000 miles now and I love this car. I just plain love everything ...

Wow...Nothing can touch the M3

by   rag133 ,  Dec 4, 2001
Pros: Engine, Handling, Power, Appearance, comfort, lack of availability
Cons: Pricey
The Bottom Line: If you have $$ for a car like this, and you are a real car lover, there is no finer machine on the market these days.
Review: The E46 style M3 has been a work in progress since the E36 ended in 1999, last year, 2001, was the first model year for this new model. The 2002 model has a few nice additions from 2001 includng a new transmission choice, along with some new colors....

2002 BMW 330i Sport/Premium

by   iknowunot ,  Jun 8, 2005
Pros: Handling, speed, comfort and the sweet looks of a Bimmer!
Cons: PRICE! They're easily overpriced, don't get suckered!
The Bottom Line: Don't settle for anything less than what you really want! I'm so glad that I didn't!!! THIS CAR IS A PERFECT 10 OUT OF 10!!!
Review: I love this car! The 330i has been my dream car for about 3 years now and I spent forever trying to find one that was perfect but not a total rip off. This car is everything I dreamed of and more!!! I researched every single possible car that was even ...

The Perfect Open-Air Sports Car

by   dwoodruff ,  Nov 29, 2004
Pros: Fast as hell, awesome exhaust sound, tremendous braking, unflappable handling, comfortable and prestigious
Cons: Convertible top rattles some, suspension a bit stiff for rough roads or casual driving
The Bottom Line: The M3 convertible is the fastest, most beautiful, and most prestigious convertible sports car out there. Plus it has a back seat and even a decent trunk.
Review: I bought my 2002 M3 Convertible slightly used, with 15,000 miles on it. The steel-gray color is beautiful and by far the best color out there -- cooler looking than the carbon black and FAR better than the boring, too-common silver. I opted for the ...

325 XiT AWD Wagon, the perfect SUV replacement!

by   ericausand ,  May 27, 2009
Pros: MPG, silky six, cargo capacity, fun to drive, AWD and traction control grip great
Cons: Harmon Kardon stereo needs a subwoofer, window regulators break.
The Bottom Line: If your a skier/snowboarder looking for a replacement for your gas guzzling SUV then this may be the perfect car for you!
Review: This past ski season I was in Vermont and I took a corner a little too fast and my Nissan Pathfinder slid right off the road and into a ditch.  So when I was looking for a new set of wheels I had a list of things the car would have to do for me. ...

2002 BMW 330Ci Convertible

by   prashton ,  Dec 3, 2001
Pros: Exciting, refined, capable 4 seater sports car
Cons: Makes me wish I had a longer commute. Rear visibility restricted with top up.
The Bottom Line: Why did I wait so long to own a BMW convertible?
Review: I've owned this car for about six weeks and have over 1,200 miles on the odometer. We ordered it back in July and collected it on October 16, one of the first 2002 models to arrive at the Houston dealership, Advantage BMW (***** by the way!)

Heaven isn't just in Ingolstadt...it's in Munich too!

by   syclone ,  Sep 14, 2002
Pros: Unbelievable composure in all situations, creamy engine, absolutely perfect transmission.
Cons: Stratospheric price tag, evolutionary styling.
The Bottom Line: Perfect dynamics + engaging personality + cachet = the Ultimate Driving Machine.
Review: If you are a reader, even a casual one, of ANY current automotive publication, you have undoubtedly heard endless raves, swooning and praises for the entire BMW 3-Series family. As a regular reader of three of the largest (Automobile, Car and Driver,...

Best Car...EVER

by   Nemo85 ,  Jun 3, 2006
Pros: pretty much everything to do with a car: design, engine, value, quality
Cons: no panic alarm, lack of gadgets for the money, needs 6th gear.
The Bottom Line: Unless you're in LOVE with what you're driving, if you have the chance to get a good deal on one of these, get it!
Review: I've been driving my '02 325XI for about a year. It was kind of on impulse; it was a used car on sale at the Saturn dealership where I was servicing my ION (process that for a second, if you will...). I got the Manual which is a little tricky to get ...

The Ultimate Driving Addiction

by   LSMillers ,  Dec 17, 2001
Pros: Sports car handling and power, combined with the utility of a sedan
Cons: This car may turn you into an incurable driveoholic.
The Bottom Line: This vehicle will awaken (or re-awaken) the joy of driving, and may induce a serious compulsion to spend every weekend on road trips.
Review: We've logged a little over 300 miles on our 2002 330Cic convertible and are ecstatic about it. We previously wrote a review of a 2001 330i coupe that we had as a loaner car while our BMW X5 was being serviced. That review has been moved so that it now...
