KitchenAid, How Could You Make This In India?

Date of Review:  Mar 7, 2004
The Bottom Line: It may be a nice big grinder, but it has one fault. IT DOES NOT WORK!
Review: If you have ever been the victim of your non-flavored coffee beans being ground at the grocery store just after someone's vanilla mocha flavored coffee, you will understand why a grinder at home is most important for a good cup of coffee.

less than expected, a bit of a disappointment

Date of Review:  Mar 27, 2002
The Bottom Line: go with another brand to avoid a frustrating coffee grinding experience.
Review: We purchased the KitchenAid coffee grinder based on great experiences with the KitchenAid product line. We found that our expectations may have been a bit too high.

Upon using the coffee grinder, we were disappointed to find that coffee...

Does a decent job for an inexpensive grinder

Date of Review:  Jul 6, 2008
The Bottom Line: Fine job at an inexpensive price
Review: We bought this grinder about a year ago as it's got good power, good coffee capacity and it's real easy to clean with the dishwasher safe, removable, stainless steel bowl.

We have not had any problems with the grind it produces for our...

Not a good choice for a spice grinder.

Date of Review:  Jan 13, 2008
Review: If you're looking for something to use as a spice grinder, look elsewhere.

I know it is meant to be used as a coffee grinder, so I can't knock it that much since I never used it as such, but I was desperate for a spice grinder at the time...

Clever, but Falls Short

Date of Review:  Apr 18, 2002
The Bottom Line: The Kitchenaid Grinder is high in style and has some clever ideas that other companies should consider, but falls down where it counts -- it doesn't grind coffee very well.
Review: When I first got my Kitchenaid Grinder I thought it was one of the cleverest grinders I had ever seen. The grinding chamber is a detachable metal cup that sits on the motor like the pitcher of a blender. A clear plastic cup fits over the entire...

fresh ground coffee smell almost better than actually drinking it

Date of Review:  Sep 25, 2005
Review: Our coffee grinder was a wedding gift, and so far it has been one of the best. I like to buy unground, fair trade coffee, but hate to use the in-store machines. I was a little nervous about using this the first time--what if I somehow messed up my...

Does a Great job

Date of Review:  Feb 4, 2008
The Bottom Line: I recommend this product and would purchase it again. It grinds really well. It is durable.
Review: I had gone through several grinders but the motor would wear out so I decided to purchase this brand because their products are durable. I've purchased their other products and the motors are still going strong. I went with the black color because...

KitchenAid/Krups Komparo: The Germans oughta' take a close look at this one.

Date of Review:  Feb 13, 2003
The Bottom Line: Not the easiest to find, but well worth the hunt!
Review: Blather
I've never been enamored by coffee grinders. Not that I don't like fresh ground coffee. On the contrary, I strongly prefer it to the dry, tasteless pre-ground variety. Always thought that stuff too closely resembled commercial sweeping...
