Kitchen Aid BCG100BU he's blue, stainless, and all mine

Date of Review:  Nov 5, 2002
The Bottom Line: great grinder within a great body - doesn't get much better
Review: It was during my "blue period"...or perhaps it was during the months of "stainless steel fixation"...whatever the time frame, this little grinder from Kitchen Aid entered my life and that of my little family. The attraction was purely physical -...

KitchenAid, How Could You Make This In India?

Date of Review:  Mar 7, 2004
The Bottom Line: It may be a nice big grinder, but it has one fault. IT DOES NOT WORK!
Review: If you have ever been the victim of your non-flavored coffee beans being ground at the grocery store just after someone s vanilla mocha flavored coffee, you will understand why a grinder at home is most important for a good cup of coffee.

My Daily Grind

Date of Review:  Apr 23, 2008
The Bottom Line: AVOID this one. Amazing how poorly it functions. Unacceptable and unrepairable. Serious design flaw from an engineering standpoint. A big disappointment from KitchenAid.
Review: Intro:

Nothings better than freshly ground coffee beans for the ultimate taste, but this coffee grinder has to be avoided. I ll never buy canned coffee again, just the whole beans and ground fresh prior to brewing. Anyone using a coffee...

KitchenAid/Krups Komparo: The Germans oughta' take a close look at this one.

Date of Review:  Feb 13, 2003
The Bottom Line: Not the easiest to find, but well worth the hunt!
Review: Blather
I've never been enamored by coffee grinders. Not that I don't like fresh ground coffee. On the contrary, I strongly prefer it to the dry, tasteless pre-ground variety. Always thought that stuff too closely resembled commercial sweeping...

Excellent for a Blade Grinder

Date of Review:  Jul 5, 2007
The Bottom Line: Great for a blade grinder. Leaves a few un-ground beans, but good grind overall. Minimal mess and no static electricity. Removable, washable grinder puts it over the top.
Review: This is a great blade grinder and a very good grinder overall for the price. I grind enough beans for 6-8 cups every morning and occasionally grind for 10-12 cups if we have company.

If you've shopped for a coffee grinder or used several,...

Removable bowl for coffee and much easier to clean!!

Date of Review:  Apr 16, 2002
The Bottom Line: I would highly recommend it - I have not seen any other coffee grinder like it.
Review: After owning a Krups coffee grinder for 4 years, I finally needed to get a new coffee grinder. After looking around at the various models, I decided on the KitchenAid Blade Coffee Grinder. It is the first coffee grinder that I've even on the market...

FAIR by my Kitchenaid standards

Date of Review:  Jan 17, 2005
Review: Ok, gotta admit I was a bit disappointed with this one. True there is no cord storage, and this little unit grinds a LITTLE bit of coffee. The motor does seem powerful but the capacity of what it can hold doesn't seem to match. You can expect a mess...

A budget minded grinder for regular folks.

Date of Review:  Feb 26, 2008
The Bottom Line: For drip, percolator, and possibly presspot, this grinder will do as good a job as more expensive burr grinders. For the price, and for these purposes, you can't beat it.
Review: Okay, so what am I doing trying out a blade grinder when I already own, and am happy with, a Capresso Infinity? Long story short; a friend wants to know what kind of inexpensive grinder to carry, but doesn't know a heck of a lot about them. He knows...

less than expected, a bit of a disappointment

Date of Review:  Mar 27, 2002
The Bottom Line: go with another brand to avoid a frustrating coffee grinding experience.
Review: We purchased the KitchenAid coffee grinder based on great experiences with the KitchenAid product line. We found that our expectations may have been a bit too high.

Upon using the coffee grinder, we were disappointed to find that coffee...

Great Coffee Grinder

Date of Review:  Apr 15, 2002
The Bottom Line: If you are looking for an inexpensive coffee grinder that is easy to maintain, I recommend this one.
Review: Last Christmas I was given the chance to use this coffee grinder and found that it was much better then grinders I have used in the past. The first attribute that I noticed is the measuring units on the inside of the coffee bean container. I...
