Highlighting In Blue With Avery Hi-Liters

Working in an office and dealing with documents all day long can become repetitious. Since I have just started a new job (same school, same building, just new department), and adjusting to new duties, I am finding that I am relying on highlighters more than I used to. Why? One of my duties is editing and producing the newsletter for the School. I have many notes in a file for future publications/articles. When taking notes during interviews, I can come back to my office and highlight interesting facts with an Avery Hi-Liter in Blue Ink to make it stand out and draw my attention to the "facts" when I get these notes back out to work on an article.

These hi-liters are 4 and 3/4" long from the tip to the base and the barrel is colored the same shade as the highlighter. Don't be fooled though, the actual shade is lighter than the barrel, or at least in the case of the blue shade. The barrel is standard and round with a smooth holding surface. The diameter is about 3/4" wide and a bit thick which makes holding the highlighter and using it for a lengthy period of time a bit uncomfortable.

The tip of the highlighter measures 1/4 of an inch and is a slanted chisel tip shape. This allows for drawing a thick line to highlight a complete sentence or by using just the tip, a smaller thinner line. It is versatile and that is one of the things I like about this brand of highlighters.

My Thoughts On Avery Hi-Liter In Blue

I enjoy using the blue ink highlighter. It is a soft blue color that is pleasant to look at. The quality of this highlighter is very good in my opinion. The ink lasts forever and I don't really remember using one until the ink is depleted. I have left these highlighters uncapped on several times for several hours and it has not affected the performance or dried out the tip.

The performance of Avery Hi-Liter in Blue Ink is very good in my opinion. You can clearly see through the blue highlighting and read your original text without any problems. The ink does not smear and the highlighted blue ink dries instantly.

The Avery Hi-Liter in Blue Ink costs anywhere from $.99 to $1.99 in most stores. They are really worth the cost because they are useful in an office setting and also in your home.

If you have editing to do to articles, reports or proposals you can even use different colors for different things to code things.

Recommendation

Every office should have at least one The Avery Hi-Liter in Blue Ink and a couple of other colors on hand. You will need them sooner or later! I give The Avery Hi-Liter in Blue Ink 5 Stars!
