I have a 4 month old baby boy who I had to express milk for due to a few medical issues, which couldn't guarantee that I would always be able to breastfeed.
I bought an Avent pump, and initially just enough bottles to have milk stored in the fridge at all times. However, once I had was sorted out medically, and really only needed the extra supplies for going out, I was in need of freezer storage.
I researched for quite a while about the different forms of storage and came to the conclusion that the only way to do it was in containers that I could freeze.
With already owning an Avent pump, I thought it best to keep with that brand, which was a sensible move in the long term.
These containers come in a pack with a special device that attaches to the pump, in a similar fashion to the way you would pump directly into a bottle. This leaves no mess, no fussing around with pumping into one device to then move to another etc.
The lids screw on with great easy and I have not had any issues with leaking. They are also easily stack-able and each holds up to 8oz or 230mL.
The containers are see-through, but have the ability to be written on with a pencil and later washed off when finished.
Having a fussy baby when it comes to bottles, I have found that it is easy enough to thaw the containers and transport the milk into another brand of bottle. And the containers can be thrown into the dishwasher for easy of basic cleaning.
