Avanti EC15W-2

I purchased this refrigerator at Best Buy for $76.00 in March, it is now August and the refrigerator has completely stopped working. Avanti has agreed to replace the unit, at a cost of $10 (presumably shipping and handling fee?)

Here are some things that may be of interest to you in considering the purchase of this refrigerator:

Pros:

It looks nice.
It is very light weight
It has a nice amount of inside storage based on its outside dimensions.


Cons:

First and foremost this refrigerator will not store any highly perishable items like Milk, Eggs, and Meat. After having some suspicions about just how cold it was getting things I decided to bring in a thermometer to test just how cold it was getting inside there. The lowest temperature I recorded was 50 degrees F for the 4 months it was in operation. The ambient temperature is about 75F in my office at all times.

Note Best Buy has stopped carrying this product. I wonder why?
