Problems with Audiovox Portable D1812

I bought this for my son and 10 days after the warranty expired, 90 days he had problems. The gaming system no longer worked after the first time and the screen was freezing when movies were being played. I called Audiovox since I purchased the product on November 17, 2006 and only had the product a little over 90 days. I explained to them I gave this to my son for Christmas so technically he had not even used it 90 days. They told me to return it ASAP. This was March 5, 2007. Today March 10,2007 I received a bill for 94.00 from them for repairs. Crazy considering the product was 145.00 new. I have no intention of paying to repair this product and plan to tell them so. I will never buy another product of theirs again. Obviously this product should be given a long warranty, I believe they know there is problems with it. I also went on to read other peoples reviews, unfortunately after I already bought the product and they had the same problems as I had with the screen freezing up as well.
