Twice a mistake

Pros: Works great for the first 90 days.

Cons: Only 90-day warranty, guaranteed to break on or after day 90.

Originally purchased this D1708 model in 2005. It stopped playing movies after a year or so. Then they got the same model as a Christmas present in 2006. Just under one year, DVDs don't spin, nothing spins. Two times in a row? Truly a piece of junk. Not even going to bother calling for service after reading these reviews, definitely not worth the time or money.
