Great amplifier to power a subwoofer!

Pros: Great looks, power and efficiency! Also, a great value!

Cons: Very few if any. Mounting holes could be hidden better.

The Bottom Line: If you are looking for a value option to power a single sub at 200 watts, this is a great option.

After doing quite a bit of research to find a low priced but high quality amplifier to power 1 10" Rockford Fosgate Punch Stage 2 sub woofer, I came across the A2002T amplifier. It's specifications are as follows:

Dual Channel RMS Power at 4 Ohms: 50 W x 2
Dual Channel RMS Power at 2 Ohms: 100 W x 2
Bridged to 1 channel at 4 Ohms: 200 W RMS Mono

Unlike some amplifiers in the market, this one seems to be rated to true specifications as to output power. Overall, sound quality is excellent.

The amp does have a variable gain setting that makes it very easy to adjust sound levels and it also features a low pass/high pass internal crossover that works great if you do not have external control for the crossover points.

The look of the amplifier is very sleek. It has a chrome plated external shell that features a blue light under the chassis. It looks great when powered up in a dark trunk.

The connection points are very nice as they are fairly well hidden for a nice clean installation. The Mounting holes could be hidden better though.

Overall, this amplifier works great to power a single sub. It has excellent power with fairly low current draw and seems to run fairly cool. Audiobahn also offers a variable gain knob that can be connected to amp for more precise remote control of the amplifiers gain settings. I did not get this option as my receiver handles all my crossover and sub gain data.
