Atlantis: the Disney Masterpiece

Comedy: Timeless. Suspense: Great. Action: Very Cool. Characters: Likable. What more do you really want in a movie like this?

To be honest the movie is not perfect, although the flaws are nothing major. First of all, a couple of the characters have been seen more than one time in this type of movie (and for that matter in others). For example, the main character: unimportant guy trying to prove insane point to really important people who will never believe him. Another thing that has been seen before is how the adventure gets started. Rich dude somehow believes incredible story, funds project, adventure begins. Anyway, if you don't analyze this stuff, you will have a great movie experience.

Now just because the movie isn't in high tech 3D, doesn't mean it does not use a ton of computer effects and it also doesn't mean that it doesn't look incredibly good. Disney's hand animation (and in recent years their mixing it in with computer technology) has always been classic, and this time is certainly no different. It is worth the price of admission just to see some of the different scene's animation, especially the final one.

I think basically anyone with an open mind, sense of humor, and the ability not to criticize everything will really enjoy this movie, it doesn't matter what age. This movie is one of my favorites of all time, and I would highly recommend you see it, or you will be missing a wonderful movie.
