The original hits warp speed

Well, this game is a lot more advanced than the original one, which has been around for a long time. The graphics have been revolutionized, and the game is essentially a brand new one. This is the problem however. The game is so different, it is no longer the fun classic that it used to be. Instead it is an almost boring standard shooting game. Although the graphics are pretty good, and the special weapons are quite interesting, I don't think this game is too exciting, and after you have played for a couple of minutes, and you get used to the controls, the game is too dull to continue playing. The multiplayer modes aren't too exciting either, and have many flaws. The only major advantage is that eventually, you can in fact access the original game. However, you need to be very patient to access this option, so I don't think it is too worth it. If you truly enjoy Asteroids, then you will probably enjoy this too (at least for a while), otherwise, I don't think you should buy this game.
