ASKO and Antonio Merloni Scam for the US

Breaks. A lot.
The Bottom Line:
I guess if you need one, it's the best in the US because of 3 year warranty. Mind you it's Servis - the worst Continental junk.

Hi
I am a British native and very familiar with washer-dryer combos since I was a child. All manufacturers in Europe have them available. They work great, efficient, wash clothes marvelously and just work! There is a british company names Servis. Which is, if you will, the Haier of the US market. Their products are the cheapest and the least quality. Noisy, unstable, unreliable and just junk really. Apparently Antonio Merloni (who also acquired Asko in the recent years) instead of bringing a true Asko unit in the form a washer-dryer combo created specifically for the US market just took a model from Servis line and changed the voltage. It's junk! Of course, it comes with Asko warranty, which is the biggest benefit when comparing similar units among the competition. It is crucial because this unit will break a lot. Before buying this unit I asked my sales rep - Is it Servis? He said - no, it's asko. I said - Are you sure? He said - Yes. Well, it is Servis judging by quality and identical looks you will find on Servis website for the last year models. Bosch makes exceptional washer/dryer combo in Europe. Siemens is the best and comes with 5 year warranty. However, why the heck can';t they bring their units to the US?????????
Instead we get the crap of the crap - Servis branded under Asko to spoil Asko's reputation and let the brand down. Our washer leaked, broke, burnt and everything else. I have to admit the service team here in Minneapolis is great and Warner Stellian is a good company to deal with. They don't really leave you on your own with this Servis product. So... there isn't anything better out there. But you are buying Servis which costs about 250 quid (pounds) equivalent to 450 bucks overpaying another 600 into the pockets of Antonio Merloni or whoever brings this product to the US.
BOSCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE LISTEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE WANT YOU WASHER/DRYER COMBO HERE!!!!!!!!!!! IN THE US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and why the hell does America still use 115volts? That sucks. Should I take British Airways back and forth to London just to wash my clothes? - Perhaps. The water is softer, the washer/dryers work
