ASKO and Antonio Merloni Scam for the US

Not Made for the American Mentality.

The Bottom Line: Do your Homework!!! The Asko is for those who are willing the change their laundry habits to a smaller scale.
Review: Despite having a nice sized condo; the area for where the washer and dryer go is a joke of a space. Not much room for even a stackable washer and dryer - which is why I settled on the Asko Combo washer/ dryer model.

Don't use this machine unless it's your only choice!

The Bottom Line: Don't buy this unless you have absolutely no way to install separates -- even the smallest portable ones.
Review: This washer/dryer is only slightly better than having to load up the clothes and take them to the laundrette.

It's somewhat useful if you have no room for at least separate stackable portable machines. Other than that, it's a sad example...

This has got to be the greatest idea but the poorest excuse

The Bottom Line: Do not get this machine without a warranty and keep every receipt and document every problem with dates and who what where
Review: This machine is horrible as far as reliability is concerned this is constantly needing repair. When it ws purchased in 2004 we had to envoke the LEMON LAW because it broke down so many times

A Huge Disappointment

The Bottom Line: For the price, this washer/dryer unit is extremely unreliable and needs frequent repairs.
Review: I live in a condo and bought the ASKO WCAM1812 in June 2006 as a high quality replacement for the old Whirlpool apartment washer/dryer stacked unit. The ASKO has been a huge disappointment.
