The Bottom Line: Unless speed is important to you or you really insist on boiling water for everything, I'd look elsewhere if you want a new electric kettle.

Noisy and cheap

The Bottom Line: I would not buy this kettle again. If I could buy Phillips kettle instead I would... but not this one.
Review: I've bought this water kettle because I do use a lot of hot and boiling water during the day. I used to have Phillips water kettle - it was very good... This one is not.

Poor quality control

Review: When we got the kettle home, it didn't sit properly on the base or counter making it dangerous to use. The kettle has a cheap feel to it. Returning it ASAP. I think this may be another case where made in China is synonymous with made without quality...

Smells Funny

Review: We have two of these kettles in our office. I like how quickly they heat up, but unless I get the water out as soon as it is through heating, the water and kettle develop this terrible sweet smell.
