One of the best investments I made.

I bought the universal co-sleeper after reading a lot of reviews because I planned to exclusively breastfeed my daughter for the first six months. I had to buy the universal because it is a bit lower than the original which was ideal for our bed as it had no bed frame. The co-sleeper was a life saver. It was easy to just bring the baby from her co-sleeper to our bed and I didn't have to get up to do that. I also had a C-section delivery so getting up was not that easy the first two weeks.

It eliminates the need for a bassinet which babies grow out of fairly quickly. I had originally thought that she won't be able to sleep in the co sleeper after about 6 months.But, even after she stopped breastfeeding, she still sleeps in her co-sleeper. She is now 13 months old, weighs about 24 pounds and still comfortably sleeps on her co-sleeper.

With her in the same room with us, I don't have to worry about her being in her room by herself as I'm not ready for that transition yet. When I eventually make that move, I believe it would be easier since she sleeps on her own bed though in our room.
