Not a good buy

This seemed like a good buy given the features, but after 7 months of trying to make it work for our family, we realized that we stopped taking pictures rather than deal with this frustrating camera!
It is SO SLOW you not only miss the picture you wanted, you miss the event while messing around with it. It's been tortuous to ask others to continue posing, while all other's have snapped their photo's, while we "wait for our camera." There's a several second lag between pressing the button and the actual lens movement = many lost pics; as well as a blackout and very long (30 seconds or more) blackout after a picture before it's ready to take another.
It also isn't laid out well which makes it more difficult to function. Menu's are meandering and don't make sense, and feature buttons offer even frustrations, and yes, more WAIT TIME.

Skip this camera. Pay 50.00 more and get a real "point and shoot" that can capture the pictures you want, when and where you want, without taking years off your life.
