Solid Player......perfect value player

I purchased this unit for $149 after rebate and am very happy with it. 18 gig of music downloaded in about 15 minutes. 2 minutes later musicmatch had everything sychronized and ready to rock.

It works as an outstanding external hard drive and mp3 player. I saw this unit for $250 almost everywhere. I still cant believe the $150 price tag for a quality 20 mp3 player.

Equalizer works well - It worked right off the bat with my fm modulator - playlists are easy to create and even easier to save for different purposes.

Navigation is easy with the thumbstick and buttons. Not as fast as an IPOd but not bad either considering over a 1000 atists and 3000 songs so far

Earphones have good sound, I personally am just never comfortable in earbuds but that is just me. It takes about 5-8 seconds for the player to start a song from a menu screen. Not lighting fast but not bad either. Songs in playlist load at same speed as a typical CD.

Battery is a negative compared to newer player's but 10 hours is plenty for me

Comes with wall charger, dual earphone jack , rca adaptor for a stereo, european charger connections

No case is included which bothered me since availability in the US is very tough to find. Feal much better about not having a case due to the rubber case guards that protect the unit

I cant say enough about comp - u plus - delivered on 3rd business day with standard shipping.

If money was no object I would have prefered the IPOD - Despite this statement I would rate this unit as a better value then IPOD and an equal due to the picture storage and hard drive capabilities in a 20 GB size at a fraction of the IPOD size
