If you are looking for an architectural magazine that is commercialized this is a good one. A better magazine for someone who is interested in Architecture would be Architectural Record. This magazine depicts more accurately what it is like to design architecture and also includes projects that are more innovative and define the architecture of our time. Architectural Digest promotes projects that are of political concern or public. If you merly what to see how other people are living, or want to impress friends with an architecture magazine then this is a good magazine. I feel I can give accurate insight in this area because i am an architect and know the frustrations of seeing some of these poorly designed projects published here mostly because of who owns it. I highly suggest a look at Architectural Record.
