For professionals and rich people

Date of Review: Feb 7, 2000

I don't know why people make a fuss over this magazine. Its not very practical for "normal" everyday people. It showcases rich peoples New York apartments, you know the type who have the bucks to redo their apartments over every two years so that they have a shot at being in the pages of this magazine?

For you and me, unless you are one of they, this is a stoggie magazine of self importance. For practical solutions using materials you have a chance of actually affording and using I would suggest a magazine such as Met Home (see my review) or even something like Better Homes and Gardens which is a bit towards the homemaker side of life but still more real than this mag.

If you are a professional looking to score some rich client this mag might give you an idea of what is happening. But non-professionals should see all of the "to the trade" ads as a warning that this is not for people outside of the trade.

Note: This mag is sometimes thought of as a home magazine that is ok for a man to read. So if your worried about your manhood but want to have a cool house maybe this is the closest you can get to practical advice.
