Eww.. Why buy this?

The Bottom Line: I recommend that you get a bigger iPod than this. But if you must this iPod definitely has its positives.
When you decide you are going to purchase an Apple iPod, the nano should not be considered. If you read the fine print on the Apple website, or if you have another size iPod, somewhere on there it will say something like "actual formatted capacity less." What this means is that when you actually plug in your iPod and format it you will have less than 1 GB. Also, the song estimation is based on a 128-Kbps audio quality. So remember that Apple wants to make their product sound as good as possible. This is fine for the larger models because you not losing much, but in the nano that is a lot of space. Also, if you are the slightest bit careless, the nano is NOT FOR YOU. These MP3 players are so small that you may forget that it is in your pocket and run it through the wash. - Not good for it. Or you might have it in your pocket and sit down and break it. These things snap like nothing. Also, the screen scratches from leaving it in your pocket. I suggest that you take the $150 and put it towards a 30GB or 60GB video. Also, a negative of all iPods is that they are only compatible with iTunes. iTunes is only a so-so music program that is not so easy to use. Maybe in the future versions of iTunes it will be easier to use. Battery Life. The battery of life of these are terrible (for videos). Music it is alright but video battery life is terrible.
But enough of the bad, here's the good. This is the smallest of the iPods and will fit almost anywhere. The sound quality is better than compact disks and you can definitely fit a ton more songs on here. Also, as with all iPods, these are extremely easy to use.
