Pros: Capacity, light, and great sound
Cons: The ear phones require an upgrade
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I recently upgraded to the Black 8GB Nano from a MuVo Nomad I have been carrying around for 3 year. Wow! the song capacity alone made the worth the money. The battery life great and the ease of use with Itunes is super. Not quite as easy as the plug...

Pros: Excellent battery life (24hrs) and extremely light weight (under 1.5 oz!)
Cons: Somewhat limited in functions compared to similar players.
The Bottom Line: Top of the line mp3 player with classic styling and ease of use.

Review: I purchased this nano for a little under $200 from a scratch and dent store, and I must say this is by far the best mp3 player I have ever used. I purchased this 8gb model along with a 30gb video ipod for a friend. In comparing the two I would...

Pros: Small, lightweight and extremely portable. Excellent battery life. Color screen. Flash memory improves read times.
Cons: Headphone port on bottom. Wheel edges not well-defined. No separate power unit. No iTunes CD.
The Bottom Line: It is an excellent product that was given a lot of thought and development by Apple. I would recommend it to any person looking for a highly portable music player.

Review: My first iPod was an iPod mini. It had fair battery life to start, only held 4GB and was pretty big (in comparison to the iPod nano). Within a few months the battery life went from fair to pss-poor. And with how much I listen to music (quite...

Review: I'm probably not going to buy another ipod after this one because using itunes is highly annoying. It takes of my computer and brings it to a halt.
I uninstalled itunes and my computer is back to normal. I am so over apple's ipod |

Review: Describe your experience using this product.
Apple IPod Nano 8GB black is my first ipod ever. It was cute and playful, I bring my iPod Nano anywhere I go, and I have never wanted to put it down. My iPod holds up over 400 songs. I bought this... |

Pros: Compact, stylish, excellent sound and volume, fast transfer, battery life, bright screen, 8GB

Review: Why have the 2GB version of the Nano if you can get a 8GB one? Although the 8GB iPod Nano is more expensive, I was getting tired of having to choose what songs to delete from my 2...

Pros: Nice update from version 1.0: More robust case, larger capacity memory and battery, brighter screen.
Cons: Other than more storage not a compelling upgrade for current nano owners.
The Bottom Line: If you want a tiny, solid, and easy to use digital music player without the frills like video playback the nano is the only one to consider.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: If the nano 1.0 was love at first sight, the new nano 2.0 is a second honeymoon. The nano 1.0 was cute and playful and at first you never wanted to put it down. But after awhile you took its technological capabilities for granted and started to see...

Pros: Thinner, 24 hours battery life, 8GB, flash drive, aluminum casing!, iTunes 7
Cons: Less features than competitors, earbuds still average, other minor quibbles
The Bottom Line: If you have the 1st Generation Nano... there isn't much here since you can update the firmware of the 1st Gen. As an overall experience, Nano is hard to beat.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Great... one year after I bought the 1st Generation iPod Nano 4GB, out comes the incrementally better iPod Nano 2nd Generation. Okay... sell 1st Gen to a friend and buy the 2nd Gen with the educational discount (which Apple has now stopped.....
