Apple iPod¿ nano Second Generation 8GB ( MA497LL/A ) MP3 Player - Compact and Excellent |
|||||||||||||
|
Pros: Compact, stylish, excellent sound and volume, fast transfer, battery life, bright screen, 8GB
Cons: No WMA support, no FireWire support, pricey
The Bottom Line: I highly recommend the iPod Nano 8 GB. It has good sound, long battery life, bright legible screen, cool design and easy to use software. If your budget...
Review: Why have the 2GB version of the Nano if you can get a 8GB one? Although the 8GB iPod Nano is more expensive, I was getting tired of having to choose what songs to delete from my 2 GB version to free up some space for ...

Pros: Small, very durable, iTunes, good value, ease of use, design, just about everything.
Cons: Included earbuds suck.
The Bottom Line: This iPod simply works. It combines good sound quality, great battery life, and excellent design into one elegant and attractive package, which turns out to be an excellent value.
Review: I am in no way a fan of Apple. The high price tags have turned me away, and the legions of arrogant Apple fanboys blaming every little annoyance on a PC squarely on Microsoft have always irritated the crap out of me. I am an extremely satisfied Windows ...

Nano meet Mini, Mini meet Nano: nano 2.0, the best of the best

Pros: Nice update from version 1.0: More robust case, larger capacity memory and battery, brighter screen.
Cons: Other than more storage not a compelling upgrade for current nano owners.
The Bottom Line: If you want a tiny, solid, and easy to use digital music player without the frills like video playback the nano is the only one to consider.
Review: If the nano 1.0 was love at first sight, the new nano 2.0 is a second honeymoon. The nano 1.0 was cute and playful and at first you never wanted to put it down. But after awhile you took its technological capabilities for granted and started to see its ...

Pros: all metal casing, scratch resistant, excellent search feature
Cons: no user adjustable equaliser option, backlight cannot be dimmed, lousy bundled earphones
The Bottom Line: Excellent choice for music lovers with a large music collection and who don't need video capability or FM radio
Review: This is my first Ipod so I have no previous Ipods to compare it against. However, it is not my first mp3 player and I think it is light years better than any of the mp3 players I've ever had. I badly wanted a new lager capacity mp3 player and ...

Pros: 24 Hour Battery, 8gb/2000 song memory, Durable, Small LCD Screen, Extra Features, User Friendly
Cons: None As Of Yet
The Bottom Line: Buy this ONE product if you are in search of an Mp3 music player. You will not find another one that is as great.
Review: The newest release of the Ipod Nano is by far one of the best electronics I have ever owned. Its small, has 8 Gigabytes of memory, very durable and is very user friendly. The first thing that I noticed when I received this great present was how well ...

My second ipod - much much better than ipod mini

Pros: Small, lightweight and extremely portable. Excellent battery life. Color screen. Flash memory improves read times.
Cons: Headphone port on bottom. Wheel edges not well-defined. No separate power unit. No iTunes CD.
The Bottom Line: It is an excellent product that was given a lot of thought and development by Apple. I would recommend it to any person looking for a highly portable music player.
Review: My first iPod was an iPod mini. It had fair battery life to start, only held 4GB and was pretty big (in comparison to the iPod nano). Within a few months the battery life went from fair to pss-poor. And with how much I listen to music (quite ...

Pros: Excellent battery life (24hrs) and extremely light weight (under 1.5 oz!)
Cons: Somewhat limited in functions compared to similar players.
The Bottom Line: Top of the line mp3 player with classic styling and ease of use.
Review: I purchased this nano for a little under $200 from a scratch and dent store, and I must say this is by far the best mp3 player I have ever used. I purchased this 8gb model along with a 30gb video ipod for a friend. In comparing the two I would strongly ...

G2 Nano 8GB Rocks Longer, Harder and Better than the G1

|
Pros: More bang for the buck than the G1, many improvements all around.
Cons: Still a delicate device - a protective case is still a good idea,
The Bottom Line: Nano G2 8GB version offers features of the larger iPod but in a small package with an excellent display and battery life. Many whole music libraries will fit.
Review: As the owner of a G1, 4GB Nano, I was naturally curious to compare the new, G2 8GB Nano to see what had changed. The short answer is: a lot. The G1 Nano was revolutionary for its size, capacity, battery life, screen clarity and package. It was also ...

Pros: Durable, Lightweight, Transportable, Storage Capacity, Compatibility with Windows/Mac, Sleek Appearance, Battery Life
Cons: Buy black earbuds for theft deterrent...white ones are a dead giveaway. Otherwise, none!
The Bottom Line: Great storage capacity for photos and music, easy to transport and durable!
Review: Apple Ipod 2nd Generation Nano 8GB in Black I have to admit, I always was a sceptic of the Ipods. When they first came out, I heard many negatives of durability, battery life and breakage ratios. However, since that time I have become a ...

Pros: Slim, easy to use software and user friendly display.
Cons: Need more space.
The Bottom Line: Great player, good sound, easy to use, great battery life.
Review: I didn't think I wanted an iPod but my husband bought me one for my birthday last year and I promptly filled it up (my iTunes has so many songs now that I have to deselect to get it to sync). I originally wanted the 80 gig but then said "no, its too ...
