Everyone's getting one...doesn't mean you should

The Bottom Line: Buy a 4th generation or newer for the better battery life and lower prices.

Expensive Paperweight

The Bottom Line: Inconsistent products with bad sound quality. Stay away.

The Bottom Line: Windows users - do your research before you buy. You may find other jukeboxes are more Windows friendly.
Review: Since most reviews concentrate on the pros, I'll highlight some cons. Not things that would have stopped me buying the iPod, but things that would have been nice to know.

1) You will need a special adapter for using iPOD with a Windows PC...

The Bottom Line: With it's sleek design, mountains of memory, and extra features, the Ipod's worth the $400 and I doubt that I'll ever use a cd player again.
