The Mighty Mouse

The Apple wired Mighty Mouse is a great mouse for Mac computers and works for PCs also. I bought one for use with a PC and then bought a Mac that came with another one. My favorite feature is the tiny and sensitive scroll wheel/button as it allows very fast and accurate scrolling in both vertical and horizontal directions.
The Mighty Mouse comes with a relatively short cord that is meant to plug into an Apple keyboard. There is an extender cable included for those that wish to plug it into the computer instead.
For use with Leopard, the "Right Click" is turned off in system preferences by default, so you must turn it on first. The "Right Click" feature of this single button mouse is made possible by a sensor that detects if a Left finger is on the mouse when pressed, so one must lift the left finger clear to get a "Right Click".The Side buttons can be turned off in system preferences if they become distracting.
The only bad thing about this mouse is that the scroll wheel gets dirty and stops working. Apple does have a tutorial on their website on "How To Clean Your Mighty Mouse" so you can have it as good as new in a minute or so.
