Apple's Mighty Mouse — Here It Comes to Save My Day "Connecting the Dots" W/O

Date of Review:  Nov 13, 2006
The Bottom Line: Bells and whistles for a Mac mouse is not necessary, but the Mighty Mouse sure acts like a superhero most of the time.
Review: I didn't think I was going to need a mouse when I bought my new MacBook Pro laptop. I'm used to being "mouseless" whenever I use a laptop, and most of the time I'm never in a place where I can really use a mouse. But working as a graphic designer...

More like Flighty Mouse

Date of Review:  Mar 2, 2008
The Bottom Line: Even though some things are better than previous Apple mice, the goodness is short-lived. The scroll wheel malfunctions, the side buttons have minds of their own and mine died young.
Review: I've owned and worked on Macs for over 10 years, both professionally and personally. As such, I have experienced all sorts of Apple mice, including the horrible "hockey puck" mouse on the first G4s. In fact, I've still got it hanging around...

Best Mouse I've Ever Used. Accurate, Customizable and Effortless

Date of Review:  Nov 20, 2006
The Bottom Line: Both wired and wireless Mighty Mice deliver excellent performance, ease of use and do so without eliciting grumbling form the user.
Review: There is a twisted phrase which goes something like this: "Hell hath no tenacity like that of a convert." Call me a convert who switched to the Mac after 25 years in the PC world. As a PC user I always hated "mice". They never worked well and I...

Not Up To Apple Standards

Date of Review:  Mar 3, 2007
The Bottom Line: Buy a Logitech trackball--easy and comfortable to use, works well, long warranty.
Review: When I bought my new iBook G4 over a year ago, I invested in a Mighty Mouse, since I hate trackpads. I soon discovered that, although it was nice to have a right-click capability for a change, that right-click sometimes didn't work too well. Long...

Rock beats scissors, Mouse beats touchpad

Date of Review:  Nov 22, 2006
The Bottom Line: Great product - certainly worthy of the Apple logo.
Review: I think it's pretty obvious that a full mouse is preferable to what passes as a "mouse" on a laptop. I bought this mouse to use with my new macbook and have been very pleased with it.

The design of this item is purely Apple. Sleek, clean...

Great mouse, not a normal 2-button mouse

Date of Review:  May 24, 2006
The Bottom Line: I'd recommend it if you need side scrolling - it's the best for that. Otherwise, I may recommend a logitech. Try before you buy!
Review: This mouse is cool. It retains the great Apple styling, and it is a fantastic fusion of technology and usability. But it is not perfect.

The mouse plugs into the computer using a standard USB port. This works great, but the wire is not...

A mouse I enjoy seeing.

Date of Review:  Apr 12, 2007
The Bottom Line: Another great piece of Apple hardware.
Review: Packaging:
If you have ever opened an Apple product, and I am assuming that you have, you know that Apple's attention to detail extends to the contents and the placement of everything in one of their packages. This is also true with the Mighty...

Apple's best so far, but could be better

Date of Review:  Nov 15, 2007
The Bottom Line: I'll take one if you give it to me, but I would not pay the $49 asking price. There are cheaper options with similar functionality.
Review: Being an Apple user for many years, I have grown used to their beautifully designed hardware and software applications and simplicity in use. Unfortunately, Apple's mice and keyboards have never been their strong suit, mostly due to their stubborn...

Decent mouse but not as ergonomic as competitors

Date of Review:  Feb 23, 2009
The Bottom Line: A very good mouse for Apple users, but a tad expensive. Best for Apple completists, but cheaper options are out there.
Review: Growing up in a Windows world, I was never much of a fan of Apple mice. Sure, they looked nice, but when it came down to functionality, they were always a bit off, whether it was the infamous "hockey puck"-style mouse from the original candy-colored...

A small fall from grace for Apple

Date of Review:  Aug 29, 2008
The Bottom Line: The Apple Mighty Mouse fails to deliver the goods. If you are looking for good mouse for your new Macintosh computer turn to a third party vendor instead.
Review: Since Apple makes the most hip, graceful, and robust computers on the planet you would think that they should be able to make an input device for their computers that is also equally amazing. Unfortunately this is not the case, at least not if you...
