Love my MacBook

This is the best laptop on the market! For those of you who are familiar with Apple products that's just normal, but really, all you PC users, Macs are the only real computers. I bought mine refurbished and saved some $. For those of you on the fence about that, for goodness sake go ahead and get refurbished, it's just the same as new only cheaper, you get all the same guarantees and warranties and internally it IS brand new, so who cares somebody else maybe got their fingerprint on it once?

I had one bad problem- while downloading some software updates (one of which was, ironically, designed to prevent sudden crashes) my MacBaby crashed during a firmware update. Which is, I was told, the single WORST time for a Mac to crash. In fact, the guy at the Genius Bar (where the geniuses hang out and help you with all your problems) said my Mac didn't just crash, it "blew up". Then he kept it for a day, fixed it up better than new, even did my updates right there in the store- all for free because it was within the one year hardware warranty. Oh, I love Macs and Mac people and the Apple store and the Genius Bar.

The screen is huge, high quality resolution, and the computer itself is quite sturdy. I know because I tripped and my Mac went flying...into concrete. I was sure that was the end, but it works fine, it just has a hideous black scratch on its formerly beautiful whiteness, and it isn't quite as flat as it used to be. But it's got personality :-)

This puppy gets HOT! All "laptops" are really too hot when running to be laptops, you need a hard surface to protect your legs and allow air circulation. When it does get too hot, the internal fan turns on and the durn thing sounds like it's going to take off into the blue, it's that loud.
