What a computer should be!

I can't say enough about this computer. Although expensive, it was worth every penny. Where do I start? First, it came with OS 10.3 (Panther). This is the first time I used this operating system. It practically read my mind when I turned it on and set it up. It guided me through internet set- up with Apple's wireless router Airtunes effortlessly and in seconds. Then just as I was wondering how I would transfer my files from my old computer to my new one, it asked me on its own if I would like to transfer files. It then led me step by step how to complete the transfer. This computer is so intuitive with everything I do. Anytime you go to add hardware or software or change a setting, it can be figured out easily because everything is organized in a way that makes sense. I have owned Window machines and Mac machines with older OS X's, this is by far the best. Computers make more sense to me now, I understand how they work because of this computer and its operating system. The computer itself looks sleek because it is so thin and its silver color. The display is wide and has an amazing picture. It is blazingly fast with even heavy-duty applications with lots of graphics. I usually have several applications open at all at once. The laptop still gets very warm but not as hot as older Powerbooks. The 17" isn't as easy to move around the house like the 15" of course. So you may want to consider that if you plan on traveling with this laptop a lot. The trackpad button has to be pressed right in the center to work and because it is so long it is easy to miss the center of it. It also has to be pressed with a good amount of pressure. I often find myself having to press it several times to get it to work. However, the keys are the best I have used on a laptop yet. They are spread out nice and need just the right amount of pressure to work. Apple's customer service is A+. Smart, fast efficient service and nowadays that is hard to find. I mostly use this computer for music, photos, movies, and internet. I do very little business on it. I did buy Microsoft Word that is all I use for the little bit of business I do on the computer. I don't know how ideal this would be for someone using it in an office setting. I have noticed emails coming from Windows applications open with no problem unlike Macs I have had in the past with older operating systems. I don't have problems with spyware, pop-ups, or viruses like my friends who still have Windows. When adding new hardware and peripherals they are sooo easy to setup. This computer is what a computer should be!!! I love it!!!!!!!!! I have never been so happy and satisfied with a product like this before.
