Once you go Mac, You never go back

After using exclusively PC's for my entire life, I was convinced to buy an Apple computer by my husband two years ago. I wish I had caved and let him buy it long before that.

The Apple MacBrook Pro, along with looking great, has been the most reliable computer I have ever owned. I have never gotten a "blue screen of death" while working, never gotten a virus, and never gotten any spyware. My computer doesn't slow down as the hard drive fills up, and I have all of Mac's fantastic software, like iPhoto, iDVD, and iWeb to play with. Previous to this computer I have never had a PC lap top last longer than two years.

I have had several problems with my lap top,but I still love it. After about a year and a half the battery stopped holding a charge, but one short phone call to Mac and they had a new one in the mail to me. It arrived after only three days, and they supplied the packaging for me to send my old one back. Later, part of my power cord melted, and again I phoned Mac and they had no problems sending me a new one. Another three days and I was up and running again. I think Mac's customer service department is the best one I have ever dealt with.

This computer can easily run Safari, Word, iTunes, Adobe Photoshop, and iPhoto with no slowness, an impressive feat considering my work PC laptop has difficulty running two programs at the same time.

My only complaint is that sometimes websites don't load properly in Mac's version of Internet Explorer, Safari, but this problem is easily fixed by installing the Firefox internet browser on the computer. Also, I do wish it cam e with a bigger hard drive, another problem easily fixed with an external hard drive, but it would be a lot more convenient if there was about 20 gigs more space.
