i thought only MicroSoft could lock up a PC this quickly

Date of Review: Dec 30, 2006

LMAO.... bought an iPod Video 80gig... thinking... well, i remembered how stylish and "easy to use" the old Mac rant was... "Jobs: as easy to use as a toaster".... well feck that eh?... iTunes continueally locks up a top flight Windows XP machine because it is forever trying to link to it's store facility to tell Apple what you're up to... it takes at least 2 reboots to load a CD's contents into the iTunes library... "click and drag"?... forget it.. that concept apparently went the way of Jobs not lying about stock options. oh, and remember all those music videos you've hung on to since MTV started showing em? well.. guess what?... the MPG-4 standard that Apple's decided to implement is NOT BACKWARD COMPATABLE.. and their "CONVERT music/video" feature really isn't meant to let you get any SOUND when you're done converting the videos... so what's the answer? ROFL.... another 3rd party piece of software from some German/Scandinavian/Russian mystery site of course... God help us all there's a reason the United States has failed at everything. Thank you Apple for enhancing my Christmas experience this year.
