Not For Young Children

But, if you are a horrible parent like me, you go ahead and let your 3 year old watch it because it keeps her entertained! The reason I say its not for children is the language. There are a few curse words in the movie. But if curse words do not bother you, then this movie is for you.

This movie has an all star cast of voices. Including Sharon Stone, Gene Hackman, Woody Allen (not my favorite guy), Danny Glover, Christopher Walken, Dan Ackroyd, Sylvester Stallone, and Jennifer Lopez, to name a few. I am surprised that the powers the be did not harp on the fact that all these famous people were in this movie! It was fun for me to watch and try to figure out who was who.

The computer generated animation in this movie was fantastic. It was excellent at portraying the view from an ants world, even with the shameless plugs on Pepsi products! :o) I will never again look at another ant the same way again!

I got this movie because, as anyone with a young child knows, I was terribly sick of watching the same three movies over and over again! I needed variety! And for $9.99, you really cannot go wrong!! Also, my sister told me that this movie was hilarious! I cannot argue with that fact!

If you enjoy this movie, you might want to check out Toy Story ($15.99) because it has the same type of animation as Antz. Plus it offers a different perspective on toys.

In conclusion, if the curse words don't bother you, buy this video for your kids! And if you don't have kids, I feel you would enjoy this movie too.
