Best cans under $50

Date of Review:  Mar 25, 2002
The Bottom Line: These are perfect for a traveller or a DJ. The only person who should avoid these are acoustic-only listeners. Otherwise, they're a great buy.
Review: I had bought a pair of Optimus headphones at Radio Shack for $20 about 4 years ago. They died out, I was sick of bad sound so I bought a pair of Koss KSC-50's to carry around in my backpack, they were great for $20, I'd advise you to buy them if you...

Bass in your...well...face!

Date of Review:  Jul 7, 2003
The Bottom Line: These headphones are made for DJ's spinning hip-hop and/or dance music. In that respect, they are EXCELLENT. However, they are not at all made for the average consumer.
Review: My wife got these as part of the Stanton Titanium DJ Package the other day, and they pretty much rock. I compared them side-by-side to the (now broken) Sony MDR-V150's, and the difference was amazing. As a test I used Apple iTunes with a flat EQ and...

Good $20 headphones. Maybe $30. No more

Date of Review:  Apr 24, 2003
The Bottom Line: If you?re mainly into MP3s, the Stanton DJ-Pro 60s have something to offer. If you?re commuting, they may be exactly what you need. But pay the right price.
Review: I've been looking for a decent pair of affordable traditional style sealed headphones. When I listen to music I don't care for outside distractions. Nor do I like the bulkiness of most traditional earmuff headphones so the Stanton DJ Pro 60s seemed...

Great headphones, not as durable as I would like

Date of Review:  Jan 13, 2004
Review: I got these headphones for Christmas and I got to using them immediately. I plugged them in and the sound was awesome. There was a little too much bass (but thats a trait of sealed headphones), but that was fixed by adjusting the EQ on my player. A...
