The Bottom Line: Fans of comic book and anime storytelling will appreciate what The Animatrix represents. It's also quite better than the two sequels to the movie.

It's time to plug in to The Animatrix

The Bottom Line: The disc seems short until you compare it to other animated offerings. Not every segment will apply to every viewer, but almost everyone will find something cool in The Animatrix
Review: Despite anime's long history in America, there are many folks who still think of any animated offering as kids' stuff. Tying in to The Matrix: Reloaded, The Animatrix (89 minutes, unrated, Warner Home Video) hopes to change that.

Animatrix, just as BAD as Reloaded...

The Bottom Line: Animation to wow. Substance and plot to confuse. Philosophical mumbo-jumbo to induce coma. Overall impression: dark, not fun
Review: After an unsatisfying Matrix: Reloaded, I along with other Matrix fans sought the Animatrix to answer some questions or to shed some light on Zion and the Matrix itself. The movie at least boasts great animation from the masters themselves.
