More Pie anyone?

The original cast comes back for another slice of American Pie and it is even better than before. If you enjoyed American Pie then you will absolutely love American Pie 2, however if you were offended or disguised by the original then things have only gotten worse. Deciding to either see this movie or not should be based on your reaction to the original.

American Pie 2 is full of laughs, sexual situations, and uncomfortable moments. If you are looking for something funny you have found it, but if you are offended by the use of profanity or comedic sexual situations then you will not like the movie. It is just a matter of personal taste. Of course this movie isn't some deep story about life and how we can change the world, but not every movie can be. This movie is about making fun of unusual situations that people sometimes find themselves in, and the male sex drive. It is about making people laugh and have a good time, so what if it isn't politically correct, most good jokes aren't.

We rejoin the original cast at the end of their freshman year. The guys who have sworn to be friends forever are now in need of a summer getaway. They head to the beach. Now they reflect on how they still have not mastered relations with the opposite sex. Jim (Jason Biggs) is nervously awaiting his dream girl Nadia (Shannon Elizabeth), he can't wait to see her but he is nervous about his abilities in bed. He turns to the one person who he has had relations with for advice, that's right the band girl. Michelle (Alyson Hannigan) coaches Jim in the art of lovemaking so that he will be ready when Nadia returns. While they are exploring their personal and sexual feelings for each other there is lots of things going on back at the beach house.

Stifler (Seann William Scott) is still the jerk that he always was and he is hitting on every girl in site and also trying to pick up two women he believes are lesbians. In addition he is pretty upset with Finch because of the brief affair with his mother.

Finch (Eddie Kaye Thomas) is obsessed with Stifler's mom and can't wait for her arrival. Oz (Chris Klein) is still madly in love with Heather (Mena Suvari) and even separation can't curb their sexual desires. Kevin (Thomas Ian Nicholas) and Vicki (Tara Reid) go through some strained scenes as they try to come to terms with the changes in their relationship. Kevin still has feelings for Vicki which makes it difficult for them to be friends. These situations come together in comical genius.

We even see the return of other characters from the original. The Sherminator, Jim's Parents, and the sex counselor Jessica all show up in the movie and while their time on the screen is limited they add a great deal of humor to the movie.

This movie inspires side splitting laughter, it is simply hilarious. Don't be worried that the best parts were shown in the trailer, while some good parts were shown in previews you haven't seen anything yet. Yes, it is raunchy and crude but it is also one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. Enjoy the movie, take your friends, but remember Don't take the kids.
