Awesome CD!

The third season of American Idol is almost finished. Soon, the winner will be announced by Ryan Seacrest. Who do you want to win? As of right now, I’d like to see Diana win, but I wanted Leah to win first, but she’s no longer on the show. If your favorite has been voted off or if he/she is still on the show, you have to check out this CD. The CD is called American Idol 3: Greatest Soul Classics. The CD is amazing, even if you don’t like Soul music. I do have to say that I like soul a little bit, in which I’m a pop fan, but this CD you will like anyway simply because it has all of your Top 12 favorites on it. In the past seasons of American Idol, they have only let there be 10 or 11 be on the CD, but this year, they decided to have all 12 be in it.

1- Fantasia does an amazing job on this song and proves why she is in the compition. The only thing bad about this song is that through the whole song they bang a chain. I know the title is Chain of Fools, but they don’t need to bang a chain throughout the whole song. It’s a little annoying.
2- I’d never heard this song until George sang it. He does a pretty good job on this song, but there’s one time during the song when he goes really high in his voice that he gets a little raspy. It’s not that big of a deal, but it just sounds strange, even though his voice is like that a lot of the time.
3- Diana is a talented girl who knows how to belt out music. I hope she wins and I wouldn’t be surprised if this song wouldn’t be on her own album. She does an amazing job and doesn’t flub up even once.
4- I was hoping that she would have a more up to beat song instead of a slow song, but she still does a pretty good.
5- I can’t believe Jennifer Hudson is gone. After you hear her sing this song, you won’t be able to find out that she’s gone. If you like her a little, you’ll love this song, and if you don’t, I don’t know why not.
6- This song is a beautiful song and Amy does an amazing song. However, I feel that she should have picked a better song that would fit her voice. She has an amazing range, but this song is high altogether and I think she sounds just as good singing high as she does she does low and I think she should have chosen a different song that would sound better with her voice, even though I like her a lot.
7- I have to say it, but Matt does an excellent job at this song. He would have made it longer if he would have sung this good on the CD as opposed to his flubs on tv. I wonder if that is him actually whistling?
8- Jasmine does an excellent on this song. I’m a big fan of hers, especially on this CD. She tends to go under pitch when she hits higher notes on TV, but when you hear her sing this song on CD, she does excellent.
9- Jon is a typical boy who has a typical voice. He sings this song perfect and any fan would be proud of him.
10- Go Camile! She does better on a CD then on live performances. This song is sung great by her and I wish she was still on TV!
11- I’ve never heard this song until Leah sung it. She does an excellent job and I’m proud to fan of hers, especially since she’s a blues kind of singer.
12- I really don’t care for John Stevens, but I do have to say he does an OK job. It’s not excellent, but he does a pretty job. Good for him.
13- This song is OK, I guess. It's mainly a featurette of La Toya, Fantasia, Jennifer, and George have big parts in this song. Everybody else basically acts as a back-up singer.
