Pros:
You get to hear the recording voices not just the live voices of the contestants!
Cons:
Some of the contestants aren't so great!
The Bottom Line:
Buy the CD but skip tracks 8-11. You will see why some people were underestimated on the show, while others were overestimated!

Track by Track this is what you get.
Track 1 is a group piece "What the World Needs Now."
This is a great piece up until the end. All of the contestants combine to make this one of my favorite songs that is also fun to sing along with. The only problem with this song is the 'baby doll' ending provided by Julia. That could have been done better.
"Superstar" is track 2 by Ruben and is a winner. I liked some of his other songs better but a flawless tune is provided with great vocal abilities.
"On the Wings of Love" is track 3 by Clay. Why didn't this guy win? He is a flawless performer who gives 200% everytime he sings. Really, it is evident he has done his homework and can deliver by making this song seem like it was written for him. This song moved me to tears, that good!
"At Last" is track 4 by Julia. At last a wonderful song by her. Her recording voice is much better than her live one but is it her own? I don't care either way. I enjoyed this song and is one of the best tracks on the CD.
"Three Times a Lady is track 5 by Joshua. What a great job. This makes me believe he was trying too hard to be just country on the show. He too, has a marvelous recording voice and lots of talent. This song makes you believe in what he sings.
"Let's Stay Together" is track 6 by Trenyce. This track lets you know this lady can survive on just one name. She is great and here she sounds much better than Kimberly Locke who outsurvived her. She is a professional. I would buy her CD.
"Back at One" is track 7 by Ricky. This was alright and I do not skip over it but when Brian McKnight did such a perfect job, Ricky should have done a less know tune.
"Killing Me Softly With His Song" is track 8 by Kimberly Caldwell. This is another just okay song. Her raspy voice diminishes the subtly of the song and is one to be skipped over most of the time!
"Open Arms" is track 9 by Corey. Why even out this one on the CD. It is terrible. He cannot sing. He sounds fake and ruins a wonderful song. Skip it every time and you will be glad. Too awful for words!
"How Do I Live (Without You) is track 10 by Carmen, who survived too long. This fact is made clear by the vibrato in this song. When Trisha Yearwood and Lee Ann Rimes both did wonderful versions of this song, why did they have a person lacking talent try? Skip this one!
"Over the Rainbow" is track 11 by Kimberly Locke. As a Kimberly fan, I was disappointed. This was not good at all and I hate skipping a favorite but buzz right past this track every time!
"Overjoyed" is track 12 by Charles. This is a joyful track from an overlooked guy. He does justice to a classic and is a favorite on the CD. The most played track along with Clay. This is a fun song by an artist with a multi-layered voice. Props to Charles for showing how to record a song.
"God Bless The U.S.A." is the final track with all of the contestants. This is a good track with some talented voices and saved by the fact Corey wasn't there but missing Charles. This song will give the unpatriotic a glimmer of hope.
Overall, an excellent CD only because some tracks can be skipped.
Cost between $12.00 and $18.00 depending on where you buy it. A must have for people who like love songs and AI fans.
