Lots of Fun for most of the family

My DH and I have been having fun with this. Imagine the “would be contestant if he wasn’t too old to try out” and the “chick who can’t sing!”!! That’s us!!! It does go easy on the judging. I have never heard Simon so nice before in the tryout rounds!!

It is Simon, Randy, and Paula’s voices but not Ryan’s. On the “next” version Paula needs to sound more natural, you can tell she is reading right from the script. I think they should pull audio directly from the show.

So far we haven’t downloaded much of the extra’s but what we have seen has been fun to watch!!!

I wish there were more songs for kids. My 7 year old daughter only knows “Somewhere over the Rainbow”. While my 11 year old daughter knows a couple more. While for us adults, Bohemian Rhapsody is a fun song to try these songs are difficult for younger children to sing. The song selection seems more geared toward the 35-45 crowd.

My girls had two friends over (boys one nine and one seven) and they had fun trying it out, even though they didn’t know any of the songs either. Now they are bugging their mom for the game. LOL

I’m hoping Wii has in the works a version for the younger crowd!!!
